Our Story
We’re Kate and Rob, and Orchard House is the result of a long-held dream and a lot of hard work. Tucked away in the peaceful Herefordshire countryside, the house was once a tired farmhouse in need of love. Over time and with plenty of help we carefully restored and refurbished it into the warm, welcoming holiday home it is today.
Every detail has been chosen with comfort and relaxation in mind, from the cosy wood-burner to the hot tub under the stars. We’ve poured our hearts into this place, and it brings us real joy to share it with guests looking to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the countryside.
What You'll Find at Orchard House
We’ve designed Orchard House to be a place where family and friends can truly relax and enjoy time together.
The house sleeps eight across four lovely bedrooms, three comfortable doubles and a twin room that can easily be made into a fourth double, depending on what suits your group best.
There are three bathrooms, so no one’s ever waiting in line!
The open-plan kitchen and dining area is great for cooking together and sharing meals, and the spacious sitting room with its big sofas and wood-burner is where we love to cosy up in the evenings.
Outside, the garden is one of our favourite spots, with a patio for alfresco dinners, a BBQ for sunny afternoons, and a hot tub where you can soak and watch the sunset over the fields.
The rooms were spotless, and the facilities were top-notch. We were greeted with a charming little welcome basket that added such a thoughtful touch. The owners were incredibly polite and made us feel right at home. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience.
An exceptional stay from start to finish!
Beautiful surroundings, immaculately clean house, very private and had everything we needed. Our kids (5 and 3) loved the open space and there was plenty to keep them entertained. Kate was extremely helpful throughout our visit, she went above and beyond and we hope to visit again in the future.

The hosts were welcoming and on hand if needed. The stunning surroundings made for a truly memorable experience. They catered to guests of all ages, making it perfect for our family. The hot tub was a luxurious touch, allowing us to unwind. With ample space to comfortably accommodate our family of seven, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and relaxation!
Our stay was absolutely lovely!
Seven of us were easily accommodated without feeling cramped. Plenty of space and all the facilities we needed. The hot tub was fantastic, even in the drizzle! And the quietness, views and walks in the surrounding countryside were wonderful. Would certainly return. Thank you.
